I am looking at my boss' marriage license (Dallas Co).  There is a place where the Official signs it and down below it says "Witnesses:  Permissible, but not required."

    I just got mine in the mail yesterday and in Tarrant County there is a space for the officiant name, his title and his address. No bride/groom, no witnesses.

    So there you have it, Tarrant and Dallas Counties in one post. :)
