I don't know if anyone has ever bought the DIY kit at Michael's or another craft store, or even wanted to do. But I did, my MOH and I bought that some time last year when the whole box kit was on clearance - for a box of 40 for 40$, so 1$ an invite! we attempted to make them a few weeks ago. I thought it was going to be a great sucess since I have a photo printer and she was helping me.
WELL, not only did they not come out - i had to order a whole new batch online because of this. The provided template is supposed to allow you to just open a document and change the wording for yourself and then print. Which I did, but it kept printing way off or not big enough.We kept altering it in Word, only to find out that word's setting didn't match, because you're supposed to print off the website's template. but, with this box being discontinued (no wonder it was on sale) the template was no longer available online. So, now that it is March and my wedding is in June, my invitations I order 50$ later are finally arriving this weekend so I can send them out. at least these are pretty, but not what I wanted.
I do suggest Vistaprint if anyone is looking to do it online, i have been fully satisfied with their choices and products.
