I’m back!!!!! And I’m MARRIED!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe that tomorrow it will be our ONE WEEK anniversary! We had a great time. Here’s a recap from the wedding ceremony, I’ll post later about the reception. There’s just SO MUCH to cover!
We started the day with the rehearsal. Right after the rehearsal finished my Maid of Honor and I decorated the tables for the reception. Our pastor told my HUSBAND he had never seen a bride setting up her own reception. After my Maid of Honor and I finished setting up the reception we went upstairs to get our hair done. My stylist was running behind because one of my bridesmaids had very thick hair so I had extra time to relax before even taking my shower. With the extra time I was able to do a quick boudoir photo shoot for my HUSBAND! I had two beautiful slip nightgowns and had our photographer shoot me in both. I originally wanted to do the boudoir shoot but there was never anytime and my HUSBAND was against it. I took my shower soon after that and it was my turn to get my hair done. While I was getting my hair done our photographer was able to take very detailed shots of all the special details in the wedding: my shoes, my pearls, our rings, etc. My HUSBAND called at 2:07 pm and I yelled for someone to answer the phone because I thought he was panicking. The ceremony was supposed to start at 2:00 pm. We rushed to put my veil on and the finishing touch of my lip gloss before leaving the room to get on the elevator. When we got downstairs the elevator doors opened up and my bridesmaids made me run to the corner of the elevator. My HUSBAND was standing right outside. After that quick scare the men took their place for the ceremony. I walked down the aisle with my dad about 20 minutes late. During the ceremony my HUSBAND grabbed my hand and squeezed it so hard I told him I wouldn’t have a hand left. Our pastor almost forgot to do the ring ceremony, but I quietly reminded him. At the end of the ceremony our pastor caught both my HUSBAND and I off guard when he told Anthony to salute me. We kissed and were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Narehood before leaving the ceremony to the song God Gave Me You.
