Who is your officiant? I am looking for a non-denomonational officiant fo rmy wedding next april. I would also like them to be able to perform pre-marital cousiling. Anyone have any suggestions? Price isn't really a concern here. All ideas are greatly appreciated.

    We are actually using Phil Waring of AzMinisters.  He's hilarious and I'm pretty sure they do counsiling.  He has really great ideas to personalize the ceremony if you wish and he's not only concerned with performing the ceremony however you want, but also making it look good for pics (only important to some, I suppose).  His wife, Gwen, who is the one I have communicated with through email is extremely nice and very very helpful.  I believe the prices are on their website.

    My officiant does premarital counseling as well - Jerry Law (From This Day Forward). So far, him and his wife Julie have been very helpful getting everything going - definitely recommended :)

    I am pretty sure my officiant does as well. Her name is Judy Serey (Spirit and Light) and she has been wonderful so far. She customizes your entire ceremony to fit exactly what you are looking for and includes the little book of your ceremony that she uses during it. She came recommended from a friend and I believe another Knottie on this board is using her as well!

    Great question!   Can someone also shed some light on how early you need to get an officiant.  I called some when I first got engaged booked my venue and they thought I was crazy booking a year out!  So, I pushed it to the side.  I just thought you cant get married without one so they were pretty important!  Thanks!
