Station 4: Bachelorette party?

My bachelorette party is this weekend (yipee!) and the bridesmaids are talking about going to Station 4, the gay bar. They have heard that's it's a lot of fun and the drag show is awesome.

Now, the last thing I want to do is offend anyone by having my bachelorette party there. Are the gay people annoyed with bachelorette parties there or do they even care? One of the bridesmaids said she talked to her gay friend and he said he gets offended when bachelorette and straight people are there! I'm not sure what do do??

Thoughts?! Has anyone ever been there for a bachelorette party?? Thanks in advance ladies!

We didn't go into the club (so I can't speak to that), but my bach party was at the drag show at the Rose Room. We had a blast - and asking for brides-to-be to come on stage is totally part of their act. Just be prepared for them to embarrass you like you've never experienced before. But it's fun! :) One of the girls even called my H and left a voicemail that I don't think he'll ever erase.

I think as long as you have a good, positive, playful attitude and are ready with cash to tip the girls, you'll be fine.

I went to my friend's bachelorette party at S4 back in December and we had a lot of fun. No one seemed to be annoyed that we were there, but like Laura said they definitely teased our group quite a bit- but it was all in good fun.

Like Laura said, at one point in the show they pulled all the brides to be up on the stage (there were 5 the night we went). Just FYI- as it gets later the drag show progresses into a strip show. Just something to think about if you have any conservative girls in your group!

Been to a couple Bachelorette parties here (and highly recommend it!). As PP said, they do pull brides to be up on stage, so be prepared (but it is fun!)

Only one time did someone come up to me and say "you girls just parade around here waving your ability to get married in our face! It's not fair that you can get married and we can't". But he was a little drunk and said it to me, not the bride. This was the only negative I ever encountered. Other than that, everyone really has a positive attitude.
