So, I'm actually on an amtrak train right now with FI coming back to Philadelphia from Boston. We were on vacation all last week. Needless to say, I did NOTHING. Literally. And now I have a ton to do next week

THIS PAST WEEK

THIS UPCOMING WEEK

-assemble, address, stamp, mail invites

-schedule a hair trial for some time in July

-send a list of RD restaurants and guest list to FMIL

-call my seamstress to see if she will do my dress

-work on attendant/parent gifts

Last week:

- I received my jewelry. I'm actually disappointed with it but I don't want to start over again so I'm keeping it.

- Tried on dress with shoes, longline bra, etc. to figure out what it needed in the way of alterations. The answer was very little so I am thrilled. It doesn't even need to be hemmed!

- Finalized guest list

- Compiled final list of all addresses

- Figured out flowers for the most part.

- MoH was dress was narrowed down to 2 choices she already owns. She'll either pick one soon or bring both

- Picked out a sash to jazz up my dress

This week:

- Assemble, address, and stamp all invitations

- Review draft of ceremony

- Discuss favor packaging with my crafty sister

We'll be on vacation starting Tuesday so that is probably all that will get done!

Trying to get things done in between traveling for work and vacation, ah! Past week: - custom sneakers for the reception are in

- custom bottle openers arrived (for GM) - rsvps continue to roll in This week: - book hair and make-up trials for august - order BM gift! (I have been putting this off!) - find hair inspiration pictures - continue to try to figure out parents gift (ahhhhh!) - exercise..my first fitting is in two weeks!

We *just* bought FI his tux- he actually had picked it out last week but had it on hold because it was 750 and that was a little more than we wanted to spend... He went in today to pick up some dress shirts they'd ordered from him (his terrifyingly long arms need their longest possible sleeve length) and it was on sale for 379. Not cheap, but 379 for a tux?!?! I'm happy.

He decided to buy one because it's always at least 90 to rent one, averaging about 130 and I work in an industry where I do have to go to formal events periodically and bring him along.

(If anyone is wondering where we got it- we got it as Jos. A Banks and it's the Traveler Tailored Fit Tux which is a nice slim fit but not weirdly skinny classic tux.)

He also ordered his 'work' wedding band on Friday and a few other details...

Who knows what we'll do this week- Dance lessons, I hope.

OH! AND PLEASE WISH ME LUCK!!! I have an interview for the *dream* job on Thursday.

Psh I wish I could go on vacation! Each year my family goes to Catalina Island for the 4th and we had to by pass it this year because of all the wedding stuff! Boo!

Last week: Helped mom shop for and purchase her MOB dress and shoes, mailed invites, scheduled dress fittings, and ordered flower girl dress and shoes!

This week: Begin keeping track of RSVP's (we already got like 4 back!), order thank you notes, have hair trial and first fitting, take RB and 2 GM's to get measured for their suits (cuz apparently they are incapable of doing this on their own..) AAAAAAnd scan pictures to the computer for our slide show. ugh.

2 months exactly from today I will be a married lady!

This week

-ordered my earrings, shoes for our daughter (flower girl), my bra ($15 on eBay and unused)

-bought my headpeice and daughters headband

-sent out invites

-received champagne glasses for wedding party

-picked up FI ring from engraving place

This week

-FMIL is doing the fitting and alteration for my dress and daughter dress.

-buy jewelry for BM

-get stuff for bathroom baskets

-figure out food and beverages for the cocktail hour.

-try and finish writing my vows

And em105 my FI has freakishly long arms too and tux places never believe him until they actually measure. They have to alter a shirt for him.

-Bought the cardbox
-mailed out some thank you notes for people who sent gifts but cant come
-bought our favors *sunglasses*
-had a dress fitting
-had dance lesson number 3

This Week
-Work on any craft projects with my crafty friend
          -finish ribbon wands
          -work on the metal wire for the votive candle holders
          -try etching
- make/ mail out a few invitations that some how got missed
-maybe work on making the photowall if we can find some helpful hands

I was so happy to get stuff done last week that I called one of my friends "love" and she was like "wtf? You called me love??" Lol.

Last week: - Got dress to the seamstress for fitting.
                   - Assembled and sent out shower invites.
                   - finally got best man's size so we can order his outfit! He claimed he knew nothing about it. Yeah, ok.
                   - Got in touch with officiant and made sure he was booked.
                   - Got photog's phone number so I can call him instead of asking FI.
                   - Ordered cowbells for ceremony.
                   - looked into M&M prices.

This Week: - Try once again to order invites! ARGH.
                   - order more favor bags from Michaels
                   - Try again to get chainsaw fixed so we can cut centerpiece bases!
