Who did you use for your Engagement Photos?

I'm looking for a photographer in the DC Metro area that could do an engagement photo session at a reasonable price. Most of the people I have talked to are asking 400-500, and I was hoping for something closer to 200.... Is that unreasonable? Do you have any suggestions for photographers?

We're not getting married in DC so I'm not looking for a wedding photographer.

My photographer Vy was amazing! She charges $250 and has a really awesome photojournalistic style. Good luck! : )

My photographer is Hino Banzon. He's doing our wedding and the engagement photos were part of the package pricing, but I think a la carte, his rate is either $250 or $300 for the e-session only.

We're usig Teri Pozniak / tPoz Photography. She charges $200, and you can get the CD of all the images for $150. Her pictures are awesome.

MIne are scheduled for October 31 in DC and we are usinf Beautiful Rose Photography. Victoria Rose is the photographer and she is great. her prices are pretty resonable and she will travel to a site for photos.

You have to be really lucky if you find a great photogragher for $200 for your engagement session! You get what you PAY! In my opinion, the purpose of engagement shots is to decide whether the photographer fits for your wedding!

We used Carmen Wang Studio and they are great!!!
