Wilder Mansion anyone?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has had their wedding at the Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst. I am having my wedding on August 13, 2011 and I am super excited. However, I am concerned about the layout and how they do "introductions", toasts, bouquet toss, etc. Thanks in advance!

    I've attended a wedding there. The layout made for a rather disconnected reception in my opinion and many guests were unable to see the bride and groom for much of the night. They did have a great sound system, so we were able to at least hear all the toasts/speeches. There were no introductions, they just mingled during happy hour with the guests and walked upstairs for dinner with everyone else. They didn't do any tosses, so not sure how that would work - probably in the main room.

    It is a gorgeous place and I'm sure the coordinator there would be able to provide some advice.

    I am also looking into the Wilder Park/Mansion for my ceremony only. Did you end up going with the Mansion? Does anyone know how it would be for just a ceremony?

    Hello,
    I am also considering the Wilder Mansion, and was not able to get a good feel for the flow for the recpetion....I am unsure about spliting the dining...any help would be great....thank you
