NWR: Combining homes too

FI rents and I own a house, so once we get married we will be living in my house.  Anyone else stressed about not only all the wedding details, but combining homes too?  We still have to paint what will be our bedroom, switch the bedroom and office, and make room for his stuff.  I think at this point I'm actually more stressed at combining homes, then wedding planning.  Just two more months in which to get it done!  Smile

    We're combining everything as well.  Each of us has a separate apartment, so in May we'll be apartment searching.  It's definitely stressful but so exciting.  I have a giant pile of things I've received for showers (+many of my own purchases) that I'm saving to be used in our first place together.  I'm so excited to get married and combine but I know it will be stressful!!

    We are combining homes too! We currently live an hour apart and willl be moving into an apartment...we get the keys 10 days before the wedding..ahh! It was the only one they had available...I was hoping for the end of April for a little time between moving and the wedding but it will all be at once, fun! Our first night together in OUR place will be our wedding night Smile

    My FI and I combined homes back in November in order to avoid the stress of merging homes with the stress of planning the wedding. I was the one who rented while he owned the home. We also lived an hour apart. I have to admit, it's definitely been great to live together before the wedding. It kind of helps us get used to living together versus trying to settle in after the wedding. Best of luck. So, exciting.

    It'll all come together.  FI and I really had no issues when we moved in together almost 2 years ago.  Just take it a day at a time =]
