My fiance and I have a really tight budget ($10,000 total for the entire shebang: ceremony and reception). What I am looking for is help deciding on the Hotel Bordeaux (Fayetteville) vs Hilton Mansion on the Hil (Raleigh)l. We have 100 guests (roughly) and this is for October 2013. The Hilton is an overall nicer place but would cost us about $2000 more than the Bordeaux but the Bordeaux offers a 4 hour open bar (this isn't really important to me because there are certain members of my family I would prefer didn't drink). It would be a little over $7100 for the Hilton and about $5200 for the Bordeaux. I don't really care for flowers (the only flowers I want to use are for the bouquets - mine and 3 bridesmaids). I haven't picked a photographer or dj or officiant b/c we haven't chosen a site yet.
