    Our friends did little glass picture frames with a red heart in the middle.  You could take it home and reuse it was the thought.  The forgot to put them out.   We are not having favors. I never take them home.  Chocolate I may eat.  We are doing color books for the kids.

    I prefer food related favors to any "take home" thing.  More likely to be enjoyed than something that will get stuck in a drawer and not looked at again.
