  Sdstephens, Sorry this is a lil long,
  COMMUNICATION IS KEY! Our spouses are not mind readers, so many issues arise from couples not communicating with each other about expectations,wants,needs,desires,finances,trust etc. We as wives cannot assume our mates know why we are sad,mad, happy, bored,tired,and every other emotion we feel. If you are angry TELL him, and count to 10 first, its so easy to just blow up in the moment, but when you come to him and say " I would like to talk to you about x,yor z" he is more willing to listen and undersatand how you feel.
  Example:My Husband being in the Army and having a demanding Army position, when he has a day off our standing rule is he picks up our eldest son from school, our eldest son loves when he gets to have the specail one on one time with his dad, well on Wednsday he was off and it was time to go get him from school and my DH said he had a headache, mind you he had just spent a couple hours playing the ps3 so I was ticked to say the least that I had to go get him. We have 4 children 3 in elementary school 1 in middle school, they don't take the bus I pick them up and drop them off everyday and there is and hour and a half gap between the elementary school and the middle school and we don't get back home until close to 5pm, so I huffed and puffed and went to pick him up, when I got back my dh with his headache was playing on the computer, I kindly asked him to turn it off and told him why I was upset, it is very challenging finding something to do with 3 younger kids while waiting for the oldest and sometimes weather doesn't permit the playgorund we love to go. By him picking him up when he's off I am able to bring the youngest kids home and start with homework and dinner etc.  But he hadn't realized how much of a help it was for him to do that until I told him.
  At the end of the day our Husbands need to know what we expect from them and they need to share with us what they expect from us as a wife( within reason of course LOL) and as long as there is Love there ANY situation between spouses can be worked out,as long as you are willing to. If you do not put forth the effort you cannot expect to have a successful marriage. It is a job! But the rewards of a happy,strong marriage far out way anything else in this world.
