Hello all.  
   I'm new here. I have been engaged for a little over a month and not much planning has been done. I am totally excited!! This is actually my second marriage, but my first complete  wedding. My ex and I eloped.
  I'm not usre if ya'll want some back story about me and FI or not.

    Thank you all for the warm welcome. =)
     I don't have much planned, I just bought my dress over the weekend and that's about it. 

     I didn't post much of the back story on role call, it's kind of long. I'll go ahead and add it here.
      FI and I have known each other since kindergarten, but we lost touch here and there until when my marriage fell apart in 2010 (My ex ran off to mexico with his girlfriend-had NO clue she existed) and left me and our 5 kids for over a week (twice). I have an 11 yr old son, 8 yr old fraternal twin boys and 4 yr old identical twin girls. I found out after he got back the first time that he had been with her for 3 years, (My daughters were less than 9 months old when he started dating her). Looking back I see everything so much clearer now. After I did everything to save my marriage but realized that my ex wanted his cake and to eat it to. I filed for divorce  Anyway FI and I reconnected through FB months later and we were strictly friends. FI suggested a BIble class at our church and a support group to help me through it.  He is the easiest person to talk to (he wasn't IN my support group, just in general), so I was comfortable telling him my fears, my pain and all that. We were friends, there wasn't even friendly flirting. We never did anything alone, always a group. Because I was still married and it was inappropriate. (That was his thing). We didn't have our first date until after my divorce was finalized. 2 days later to be exact. It still feels fast to me, but I have always had a soft spot in my heart for FI, we even had a few dates in Jr high, before he went to high school 500+ miles away. I actually found all of our old letters to each other from then. he is a complete 180 from my ex. It's such a blessing to have someone who supports me no matter what, who loves me for me (even when I'm pissy and upset and about to loose it), who truly cares for my kids and who has seen what my life is and still wants to be a part of it. I can't even find the words to express all my feelings.

    Your fiance sounds so sweet and like a good guy!!

    If you have a picture of your dress, feel free to post a picture (or a link to the designer's site, or whatever). We all love seeing dress pictures!!
