Adhesive bra?

Anyone using/used an adhesive bra before?

I'm debating on getting one. I can wear my dress with out a bra, but I just felt nakid. I always have a bra on. And I was thinking, this will cover on top of boost so I can have help getting into my dress instead of covering up with my hands. Lol.

So I need your opinions, have you tried, heard of someone that did, thoughts/feelings and yadda yadda yadda.

Re: Adhesive bra?

  • I have tried it - it doesn't, by any means, give you a "boost" as you said. It's more like it will be glued to you and protect you from nip slips or see-through-ness of shirts. I probably wouldn't wear one underneath a wedding dress (I am assuming that is what you are talking about)? I have done it when wearing a backless cocktail dress but if you are able to sew cups in to your dress, that would be a much better option.
  • I'm not a huge fan.  I've used the kind with the sticky strips, and also that ones that you essentially glue under your boobs.  Being well endowed, the adhesive one doesn't work so well for me, and the glue on one is not so sexy when you're trying to scrub glue off after removing the cups.

  • Nope, never have worn one. My mom is going to wear one though. If your dress holds up well, you probably don't need anything. I'm not wearing anything underneath my dress.

  • I bought one recently and have used it a few times for weddings and bachelorette parties. It really depends on which one you buy.  This is what I bought from Macy's and it has good reviews and is affordable.

If I wear mine right, it can give me cleavage, but it does not lift my boobs, as butterfly mentioned.  With a tight dress on (when I don't need lift), it has worked perfectly for me for 8+ hours.  I am going to wear it with my ceremony dress because I can't get cups sewn in, but for my reception dress (American style dress), I had cups sewn in.
  • I'm wearing one that I bought from Target. They have one that is like bra material and then a more expensive one (like $20) that is more like gel. I LOVE it...it stays on perfectly and is comfortable.
