Mountain Top Inn vs The Essex

I'm considering both of these venues for an April 2011 wedding with about 100 guests.  Does anyone have any experience/feedback on either one?

    I would personally definitely go with mountain top!  Have you been?  The grounds are so beautiful.  If you are considering getting married there they let you spend a night for free so you should definitely check it out.  We visited the essex too and the food was great but I just didn't think it was nearly as nice. 

    We were choosing between mountain top and the round barn and we ended up going with the round barn.

    I have never been to the mountain top inn but from the pictures is seems way nicer than the essex.  I checked out the essex and it had more of a banquet room feel.  More of a basic wedding but still beautiful just not what I was looking for.
