Glam Squad

Has anyone used Sara's Glam Squad only for their makeup.
I just found out Sara is booked on my date. I cried. Legit cried.

I have the option of the glam squad- but I don't know how I feel about that at all.
I don't want to go into detail here about my aprehsion but I am sure most people get what I mean.

Does anyone else have any other suggestions for makeup.

I think I am going to contact Sam C for hair- does anyone have her contact info?

Hey Hon,

I used Sam C for hair and she was fabulous! I also used Sara and her glam squad for make up. I don't remember the lady's name but she was great! I suggest you book a trial with one of the girls to see if you two are a good fit. I also recommend Jennie Kay or Jennie Kay Beauty but she also books up VERY quickly. Sara's glam squad does offer a lower rate so at least they are more budget friendly.

Thanks, Just emailed Sam. I am going to call Jennie Kay this afternoon,.
Her glam squad is Less expensive, but also just as expensive as some other artists that I think would have more experience in the wedding industry. I know Saras glam squad is a young group. Though- that could mean they are a bit fresh and wuld know what I like.

I used Kerri Parks at Skinplicity in EG. She came to me, though, which was awesome. She did a great job and my skin looked flawless. I never wear makeup and have really sensitive skin and rosacea but she uses Youngblood mineral makeup and it was fantastic. (I'm not one for posting pics all over the Internet, but I've still got your e-mail and could send a few if you wanted.

don't forget about kristin greene! i am using her and she is very popular with a lot of brides on here. she is really nice and very well reviewed.

I am using Holly Dalton who is trying to get her foot in the makeup industry. She is a member of Sara's Glam Squad but I booked her on her own, she does airbrush and my trial was great. She works at Bobbi Brown in Macy's too, and all of Sara's squad was trained specially by her. I understand having reservations about using someone who is not a vet, but she was awesome and it might be worth checking out the Glam Squad.

Please do not force me to close this discussion as I believe the topic here was to offer recommendations for other make up artists. Do not start a thread inferno, I will delete your posts and report you.

Also, I find it highly suspicious when someone's first post sounds vaguely like a vendor.

Seconding the recommendations of Sam C. and Jennie Kay Murphy--they're amazing, if they're available! If not, don't worry, someone good will be.

I ended up finding Sam and Jennie Kay because the first 3 sets of people I contacted were not available, and while I'm sure they would have been great, I'm so, so glad I ended up with Sam and Jennie Kay!
