Engagement Photos - Location Options

Hi - need everyone's thoughts on some location options for our engagement photo session.  We'd like to stay in Manhattan and it's scheduled for April 10th.

Central Park is already on the list of course - Bow Bridge, Bethesda Fountain - but if you have any other favorite spots in Central Park, please let me know.  :)

Thanks!

What about Grand Central or if it's warm enough, the Highline?

The meat packing district has some really cool buildings and cobble stone streets, battery park, the boat house in central park, stairs of the MET, (I know it was already suggested but it is gorgeous) the highine, or if there is an area of manhattan the two of you love to be in just walk around the streets with your photographer you will find photo ops. The places don't make the photo it's the two of you that make a beautiful image, the rest is just filler. I know you want to stay in manhattan but if you wanted to get pics of the manhattan skyline in the background you can take the water taxi across to jersey, it only takes about 15-20 minutes. Good luck!!!

You can take the ferry to Staten Island and back at Whitehall Street- it's not that long of a ride.

In Central Park--also the Shakespeare Garden, Ladies Pavilion, and Reservoir.  Some folks like the Belvedere Castle, although it's a bit dramatic in my view.  The Dene Shelter is near the Terrace/Bandshell area at about 66th & 5th.

Tryon Park is under-used and gorgeous.  So is tiny City Hall Park and its surrounding blocks.

Off-beat... dilapidated old subway car in Redhook by the pier -- if it's still there... Old U.S. Custom's House...

And, yes, I agree -- High Line, Chelsea Market, Met, and Grand Central too.
