Hair Trial (PIP)

I had my hair apt today -  I lucked out and was able to schedule my trial run at the same as my actual appointment. I love what how my hair was styled! I asked my mom to snap a photo at 7 (ceremony start time) and the curls had fallen almost completely out!  Should I schedule a re-do or do you think I could just tell the stylist?

  • I'm really worried about this as well; my hair is very thick and doesn't hold curl well. Maybe you could call your stylist and ask her if she has any ideas to make the curls last longer? Maybe they can use a better holding spray?

  • I would call her and explain what happened. Might just need more hair spray.

  • Did she use a themal spray and spray each chunk of hair before curling it?

I actually changed to an updo style for my ceremony because of how fast my hair loses its curl. Which was really disapointing because I had been growing my hair long for two years.

  • Very pretty! I agree with the others to call your stylist and ask about what she reccomends. It might just take more hairspray.

Or do tighter curls at your appointment so that when they naturally start to fall out later in the day they'll still have some curl.
  • Heeeeey! We have almost exactly the same hairstyle picked out! Good taste. Wink
Hopefully my curls take their sweet time going flat. My ceremony's at 3 p.m. and my hair can't take time off until the clock strickes midnight. Yeah. There's going to be a lot of hairspray involved, methinks.
Let your hairstylist know you'll need some extra oomph to hold the curls in all day and all night. I agree with Britt0412, tighter curls might do the trick.

I know I was in a wedding a few months ago and right before we all walked down the aisle the hair stylist recurled our ends and resprayed. You may just want to respray it right before your ceremony, bring the hair spray to the church or wherever you are getting married. Maybe bring a curling iron too so someone can just do a last minute touch up.

My hair is the exact same way, wants to be straight as a board. I have been fighting this battle for years against it unfortunately!
