Invitations - Calligraphy

Anyone use a calligrapher for outer invitation envelopes?  If so, any recommendations?  I want to stay under $1.25/envelope but not sure if these is possible.  Everyone seems to cost way more than that.  Thanks ladies!

    I remember stephiehall having a calligrapher for her wedding envelopes (I think).  Per the vendor sticky at the top of the page, it says she used Calligraphy by Angela.  Here is a link to her page, which shows her rate for outer envelopes is $1.00 per envelope:  http://calligraphybyangela.com/services.html

    I think I paid 70 cents/envelope for my girl, who is located in Frisco. She was running a special at the time, but she's still reasonably priced

    Yes I used Angela and she was so sweet.  She reminded me alot of Becky Fowler in that she started her business because she enjoys working with brides so much.  She met me and I gave her everything and she had my invitations back to me within two days and charged me $1 per envelope (I did outer envelopes only).

    From what I remember when I looked into this, I think ~$1.00/envelope is pretty much the norm.

    BPInvites starts at $1.50/envelope now, and when I contacted her she said she doesn't really run specials very often because she's been so busy lately. She was on a 3 week wait list when we talked. 

    During my search I also found Rachel Carl (www.rachelcarlco.com). She also starts at $1.50. 

    I think $1.50 is pretty average now, unfortunately. The only one that I found that was any cheaper was a guy off of Craigslist. He still had a website so I know he was somewhat legit, but I wasn't confident enough in him to hire him.

    I used Lucy Cheng with Once upon a Calligrapher and she is AMAZING!!!!  She stayed in touch, when the post office lost my envelopes she had extras and sent them FedEx, she adds people when you need to, super sweet and affordable!!!  HIGHLY reccommend.
