Anyone have any unique and affordable venue ideas in or around Mentor?  It seems like everyone we know gets married/has their reception at the same few places and we would love something different.

    What size guest list? What venues are "out" since friends have used?

    Smallish, probably 75-100.  The only ones we really want to stay away from are Pine Ridge and LaMalfa.

    I would check out Manakiki Golf Course, Quail Hollow, Holden Arboretum or Penitentiary Glenn!

    if you want something really different check out wildwood in mentor. i'm having my ceremony there but my reception somewhere else. its an awesome place though :)

    Mooreland Mansion (near Lakeland CC I believe).  Someone I know just went to a reception there and that was the first time I've heard about it.
