Jason Rhee Photography or Carin Skinner Photography

We have set up meetings with both photographers.  Has anyone used either of them for their wedding?

Any feedback would be great.

    We used Jason and we absolutely loved him. He was very responsive and great to work with. We definitely got a lot for what we paid for. We recently got our album and he did a great job. When people come over and look at it they have been complimenting it.

    We are using Jason Rhee.  We loved him when we met with him.  Waiting for our engagement pictures to come in.

    We are also using Jason Rhee he has a great rep on here and so far he has been a pleasure to work with.  He had no problem modifying our package for us.

    If I were to judge based solely on their online portfolio, I would say that Jason Rhee is the more talented of the two.

    What I'm doing is requesting to see a few complete wedding galleries so that I know i'm not just seeing their "best" images.

    We're using Jason for our July 30 wedding. We found him through friends and based on what we saw with their photos and album we knew we wanted to use him. You definitely get a lot for what you pay with him and he's very flexible with his packages. He worked with us and we got everything we wanted in our package for a price under our initial budget. He is great to work with too. Emails are usually responded to the same day you send them or the next day at the latest. When we did our engagement pics he said we would have them within 3 weeks and we did! He's also a lot of fun to work with when he's taking your pics. He was the only photographer we met that we felt 100% comfortable with.

    You definitely can't go wrong if you choose him! Good luck!!!

    I don't think I've ever heard pf Carin Skinner; not sure I've anyone here ever suggested using them.  Jason is EXTREMELY popular here as you already see.  And I think for good reason; his work is very good and consistent and he's priced modestly.

    We met with Jason, liked him, but didn't go with him.  We were concerned about the volume of work he takes on and there were some complaints posted here at the time about how long it took for him to finish images or albums.  And albums were the other thing that turned us off a little; we were looking for nicer albums than he offers.

    We found someone we felt met our needs better, but in spite of our apprehensions, I think Jason would be a great choice.

    We used Carin and loved her!  She and her assistant were extremely fun to work with and helped us make the best of our day (we had a BEAUTIFUL facility with AMAZING grounds, but it was raining and though we couldn't take full advantage of the grounds, Carin made sure we had plenty of shots outside anyway).  I've never heard of Jason Rhee, but we interviewed 8 photographers and loved Carin out of everyone we saw.  However, I know how stressful choosing a photographer can be....GOOD LUCK:)
