John Arcara or Josh Lynn?

Any reviews on these photographers? Or does anyone have another recommendation? Our photo budget is about $5k. Albums or no albums.

    John Arcara was awesome. His work speaks for itself. He made me feel so comfortable & once he arrived my nerves calmed. He gets great shots very quickly. There is no waiting around to be posed. The best part was when he had the photos he took earlier in the day playing on his laptop by the bar during the wedding. He also posted teasers that evening on facebook. I let him lead me around Red Bank for our wedding photos & he did a great job finding creative places to take photos. We received our photos very quickly too. My friend used him for her wedding as well & has nothing but good things to say about him as well.

    Both are very reputable photographers with excellent reviews. Meet both of them to see who you better "connect with"  because your comfort level with your photographer's personality can make a big difference in the naturalness and spontaneity of your photo shots. I'd also like to recommend Diane and John Manieri from ESP Studio; very genuine personalities and excellent work.

    They are also good friends -- so I am assuming they have somewhat similar personalities. But def. meet with both -- I don't think you can go wrong with either photographer.

    I wasn't aware of John Arcara when we did our search, but Josh Lynn is spoken of on this forum both highly and often so we checked him out.  You certainly can't go wrong with either one, they're both very talented.  That said, they both are just a little pricey and we found ourselves connecting with photographers that we liked every bit as much for quite a bit less.

    It's a matter of personal taste and knowing what you're looking for.  We selected Robert Wayne Photography and are delighted in our choice.  Someone just posted engagement pictures here that they had just done with him only a couple of days ago and they looked awesome.

    We loved John Arcara. My DH wants to hang out with him lol! Josh and John are actually quite good friends. Anyway you can't go wrong with either one but we have a preference for John Arcara.

    In around that price range (I think), I really like Todd Laffler's work.  A friend used him and was very happy.

    I'm not sure of either of those, but you can check my photog out, CIP Studios, Chester nj.  www.studiocip.com   They are definately in your price range with albums and some other items as well.

    I am using John Arcara. He was pricey, but we just really clicked with him and our sooo excited to have him be part of our wedding. Good Luck!

    I'm using Josh Lynn! I absolutely love him! We've done family shots with him, our e-session and I'm looking forward to our wedding day with him. His work is incredible! He is on the pricey, but so worth every penny!

    If your budget is that high, I would consider using Neil Van Neikerk of One Perfect Moment.  I believe Josh works as a second shooter at times for Neil.
