Illinois - Ohare Area

Hey everyone,

I just started planning my wedding, and I'm trying to find out if anyone was able to find any decently priced venues around the ohare area/suburbs? I'm trying to figure out a way to not spend a lot of money on my venue and the food. Any one have any ideas on venue and food that won't be pricey?

Thanks

You will probably get more responses if you re-post this on the Illinois/Chicago board.

That said, I have heard good things about The Seville in Streamwood, The Stonegate in Schaumburg, and The Hyatt and Hilton hotels at O'Hare.  Indian Lakes and Bartlett Country Club get good reviews as well.

Which surrounding suburbs are you considering?  What do you consider "pricey"?  How many guests do you expect?  The more information you provide, the easier it will be for others to offer suggestions.

<div>While you are early...check out my dj/Band guy!!

    </div><div><div>The contact info is at <a href="http://www.funkyjazzypop.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.funkyjazzypop.com</a></div><div>
</div><div>I am getting  a band/DJ package where the guyI actually sing Michael Buble kinda stuff with a live jazz trio or recordings for Cocktails, and DJs the rest of the night...The price it just over a DJ price since he is both the singer and dj. He said he hires "gigging pros" that can leave early enough to make a "real gig"  so the costs stay low. He is an AMAZING singer!</div><div>
</div><div>He pays you $100 if you refer him to a friend and they hire him too! I already got 2 friends using him!</div></div>

Bristol Court Banquets in Mount Prospect is great, my friend got married there & everything was very easy & affordable. She worked directly with the owner the entire time & they took care of everything she needed. Check it out....  www.bristolcourt.com
