Nails - shellac/brisa, etc

Hey

Anybody doing shellac/brisa/etc for their wedding day?  I have had brisa in teh past, hate the thickness but they look so nice.  It has been suggested tome to try shellac polish instead.  I have not seen this in a French manicure before.  Anybody try it?

  • I don't currently get my nails done, but when I was in the military I wore American manicure shellac FOR YEARS.  It was awesome. Best thing about shellac is you can get your nails done days before the wedding and they will be fine.  You don't have to do it day before/day of.
  • Yes I got a gel manicure done for my wedding which is basically the same as Shellac. I got a French and loved it. It held up through our HM too which was great. They stay nice for about 2 weeks.

  • Shellac is wonderful. It wears like iron.

  • I love Shellac. I had French done almost a month ago and it's still on. My nails have grown but I filed them down and painted a dark color over the Shellac. You can't even tell its grown out!

  • For my wedding, I got a french shellac and I've been hooked ever since! It lasts close to two weeks.  My nails chip within hours of getting manicures, I don't have that problem anymore now that I get shellac manicures.  I pay $30 each time and it's so worth it!

  • you wont believe this, but i started doing the KISS press on nails. I used to get my nails done every week but they always looked fake and cost a fortune. The KISS nails from the drugstore are like $6 and look even more natural than any acrylics. they come in french manicure
