  priest should be invited to the RD and the reception.
  
  our priest fee was $100.  we gave an additional $100 beyond that.
  
  we also tipped the altar boys $40 each.

  Yes, we invited the priests to the RD and the reception.  They were sent formal invitations, just like the other guests.

  Yes, we invited our priest and deacon & his wife to the RD and the reception. It was recommended that we give $250 so that is what we gave.

  We are inviting the priest to the RD and wedding.

  
  

  Our priest is a close family friend since Vietnam in the 1950s.  So he didn't request a donation.  However, we did talk to the church secretary and she told us a suggested amount.  We're giving that and more.  In my opinion, it's best to give in the form of cash or check rather than gift card for more flexibility.
