uplighting - especially Cascades brides

another question for you all -
If you had uplighting was it worth it? If so - who did you use and what was the price range?
We're getting married at Cascades

We had uplighting as part of a package through our DJ, Jason and Vinny @ CT Party Pros. We got married at The Waterview and the uplighting was definitely worth it! It made the room really come together and I just loved the look of it. I think the uplighting really gave it that something extra.

I'm glad you asked this because I have the same question! I'm thinking pink uplighting for my wedding at The Riverview, but just not sure if it's worth it or not. Through my DJ it will be about $200 but I think before I go ahead and commit to it I am going to see what other people's opinions on here are and consult with my photographer to get his POV.

We had uplighting at Cascade... definitely worth it in my opinion. It adds so much to the ambience.

We used Powerstation Events for our uplighting, but I can't remember the price off the top of my head since it was part of a package.

I think uplighting makes any venue look amazing

We are at the Riverview and every pic I have seen with uplighting looks so much better (to me) than without.

We are doing it, it's only $175 with our DJ

Definitely worth it IMO, especially at Casacades!! It gave the room that extra something...even though it is already gorgeous!! We used Music in Motion, Mike was really easy to work with (even though we did not use them for DJ services) & the guy he sent the day of was awesome (drawing a blank on his name right now)--he blended right in!! This is the picture of our uplighting the day of our wedding on Music in Motion's blog!!! LOVED IT! I also am drawing a blank on pricing, but it was reasonable!!
