Reception Help!!!!

Hello Brides!

I need your help searching for a reception hall in the Ventura County, Agoura hills, Santa Monica area. My fiance and I would prefer to have a secluded woodsie reception, with a chic cabin feel. We both love camping, the outdoors, so we're going for an organic, cabin, plus fireplace atmosphere. For example Middleranch in Lake View Terrace is ideal, except for location. I feel like I have maxed out the search engine, if anyone knows of any hidden gems please let me know. Thank you, and good luck to you all!

Try Temescal Canyon Park in Pacific Palisades. There are two venues on site, and Stewart Hall sounds like it would fit the bill.

Guests can even stay on site in cabins and dorms.

Through the same group (LA Mountains) that does Temescal you can also check out Franklin Canyon. Nice park with a pond & very rustic feel for being close to the city. good luck!

If you're looking for a "rustic feel" two places I recommend is Calamingos Ranch

Of the two, Calamingos is pricier.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I just recently visited Calamigos in Malibu, which has the same feel, but its good to have options, before making the big decision. Thank you again.

I actually toured Calamigos last weekend, and it was amazing, and you're right it's a bit pricy, especially since I'm trying to go for a low-budget reception, but it's the only location i've been able to find that meets our needs. Hopefully I can haggle my way into a beautiful wedding, but i'm also considering Saddlepeak. Thanks again for your help.

Try Lost Canyons Golf Club in Simi Valley. It's got a very rustic look to it, and Barbara is an absolute JOY to work with.
