How do you know how many chairs and tables to rent, if you have no idea how many people will be coming?

    I gave my rental company an estimate based on how many people I think will come, and then paid a deposit to hold my date based on that figure.  I have to give them a final count 2 weeks before the wedding, and I'll have all of my RSVPs by then.

    I did the same, I gave an estimate of how many guests and reserved that many with a deposit, than I will update and pay off my rentals about 2-3 weeks before the wedding.
