Did you get anything done this weekend?

I did NOTHING WR this weekend...its been a while since I have though...I feel like I have too much going on to even THINK about planning but I wanna jump back into planning soooooooooooooooooo bad...

I'm currently addressing my STD envelopes and plan to get them out tomorrow! Yippee! {Yeah, I'm late, but whatever. I paid for them, and I'll send them out!}

Well, i got into a car accident on Friday on my way to work so my other baby is in the shop awaiting her destiny :-(

My FI and I went to this Jazz BYOB spot and it was wonderful!

The ONLY WR thing we did this weekend was to put my wedding bands on layaway, since we dont need them anytime soon 2012 is soooo far away

Next weekend we have to go check out some venues!

@ Bluivory, I'm so glad you are okay and I'm sorry to hear about your car!

My weekend was good - a lot of relaxation b/c FI and I went to Chicago on Thursday/Friday to see Lauryn Hill perform at the House of Blues. We were in the front row, it was an amazing show and we did not get back to our hotel until almost 3:00 am!!

So we chilled this weekend and rested mostly - actually sat our lazy butts on the couch all day on Saturday and worked on wedding/business stuff. We DID NOT MOVE all day until about 11pm, when we finally decided to take showers - LOL!

Sunday we went to church and heard an awesome message about the ways we can sacrifice more (in all areas of life) and Sunday afternoon/night we watched football and wedding shows.

WR: We finished the play/do-not-play list for our DJ, decided who was getting invitations to our Sunday brunch (after the wedding) and updated our wedding website to accept RSVPs.

Besides watching my Steelers go to the superbowl for th 7th time....lol
I created on powerpoint the reserved seating for the ceremony and am starting to work on the ceremony also...

Friday- FI and I went to Red Lobster for dinner, it was so good they have this new peach glaze plate over chicken and shrimp (yum) I could eat me some more right now

After dinner we came home and passed out with belly's full!

Saturday- Ran some errands 1st thing in the morning, came home watched some movies and relaxed

Sunday- Was online looking at wedding stuff, watched football by the way Im not happy the Steelers are going to the Superbowl I was really rooting for the JETS.

Overall it was a good weekend!!

Bluivory - Glad you're OK.

My weekend was actually quite nice. Went out to lunch with some girlfriends from the gym on Saturday. Then decided to go look for my shoes. Couldn't find anything I liked so the search goes on. Also couldn't find bridesmaids shoes either so I am hoping I can find something affordable for them and me in the next 1-2 weeks.

WR:
I did get my earrings for the wedding. They were on sale which was good :-).

Also finished up the kids activity book. Picture below. Next, I'll be tackling the wedding programs this week.

We finally took our engagement pics Sunday..

Me & FI got in a HUGE fight last night!! It kills me how they think they're always right about everything & like they're the victim..

Im still waiting on my damn apology & I better get it or all hell is gonna break loose!!

My weekend was a lot of fun!!!! I was in DC for work last week (and still am by the way), so I met up with some girlfriends at Park on 14th on Friday night for dinner. One of them is in my WP, so she made appointments at bridal stores in NYC to go dress shopping. Bad idea since I already purchased a dress lol!!!

Saturday - we drove up to NJ very early and got like 2 hours of sleep. Then we drove up to NYC and went bridal dress shopping. At Pronovias, I fell in love with one of their dresses and now trying to decide if I'l get it or not. We decided to walk-in to Kleinfeld's since we were not able to get an appointment. They were booked, but we requested to meet Keisha (happy to know she still works there) who was very sweet! We are able to get an appointment for the next day since there was a cancellation, although we ended up cancelling since one of my friends had to go home early. I saw the Pnina collection, which they say 8-12 months to order. Her dresses are extravagant and glamorous, but not really my style, even if I could afford them lol. We then went accessory shopping and I found this store that makes pretty appliqués and veils. I might return to order stuff from them.

All in all, it was a very fun weekend and I had fun hanging with the girls, even though I didn't get much sleep

This weekend I sampled one of two caterers that I am looking forward to catering my wedding. The food was delicious but I can't wait to see what the pricing is like.

@BluIvory...Sorry to hear about your car accident...I'm glad you are ok.

Well me and my FI did look at some reception sites online and I got my sister and cousin on board to look around for me and book some appts around March. Other than that I sat around and did nothing and tried to soak in all this work I have this semester. I really don't think I'll be doing any planning for a long time with everything I have on my plate this semester

@Hatroopes: The Park @ 14th is my spot. I'll be there this Fri for dinner & a celebration afterwards.

Ok...now to the original question....I was sick all wknd. Finally got outta the house on Sun to watch the playoffs w/ friends.

WR: Nothing accomplished. However, I did find out that I may be losing 1 of my hostesses & a FG (her daughter). My hostess may not be able to fly in June being close to her due date in July

Missheaven: Don't hurt him too bad.

My weeked went fast, looking back I don't know what happened to my Saturday.

But Sunday, I went to a bridal show... Eh, it wasn't anything to write home about. But I did win a door prize. Which was really cool. That was the whole weekend.
