Ceremony site

My fiance and I already have our reception site booked and paid for an didn't think w/less than 5 months to go we would not have a ceremony site.
PROBLEM being, I attend a nondenominational church that holds... 100 people?  My fiance was raised Catholic and doesn't often attend now.  Problem is, I can't find a church that holds 150 people that doesn't charge more than $600.00 - $2,000 for using the chapel for an hour to get married! (Because we are NOT members)  I have looked at pretty much every venue  I could think of on the North and Northwest side of Columbus.  Can anyone help?  I have called 30 churches and visited 12..  Anyone help?

If you'd like non-church sites I have lots of recommendations:
    Park of Roses
Pretty much any Parks & Rec dept has shelters/ parks/ gazebos to rent space for pretty cheap (Gahanna, New Albany, Dublin and Columbus all have lots of options - most are listed on their websites)
Olde Gahanna Sanctuary used to be a church and is now a community center, but it's $975 for a Friday or Saturday, but it's possible you could work something out with the person who has reserved it that night and just use it for your ceremony earlier that day?
I've heard Broad St. Church is pretty flexible on things you can do, not sure of price.

Sorry I'm not much help with church sites though.

You could check out King Ave Methodist Church. My coworker got married there and it was less than $2000 for sure!

Both of these Hilliard churches may be higher than you want but will allow non-members to marry:  Scioto Ridge United Methodist (SRUMC) on Dublin Rd (between Fishinger & Davidson Rds) or Hilliard United Methodist  (HUMC) at the corner of Scioto Darby and Main St.

I think total would be about $600 for non-member (sanctuary, pastor, organist.

    HUMC non-member fees:

$300 Basic use of church building, including sanctuary & 2 rooms for dressing:
    $150  Officiating Pastor
    $150  Wedding Coordinator
    $100  Custodial Services
    $150 Basic Sound System fees
    total $850

You would have to use the wedding coordinator, a pastor from the church would have to participate, and you would proably have fees for using the organ if you used it.

    SRUMC:
    $400 sanctuary
$75 deposit for dressing room, refunded if room left in good order
    $250 Minister
    $150 Wedding Coordinator
$150 Organist (additional $25 if they will accompany soloist

$950 (plus $75 for dressing room - but refunded if left clean)

Another place to consider, there is a church at Weaver Park in Hilliard, where Avery Rd becomes Main St (where the Franklin County Fairgrounds is).  It was originally Colwell Methodist and was moved to this park. This is the Northwest Historical Village at Weaver Park.  614) 876-4376 or 614) 777-1427 Scroll down to see a picture: http://nwfchs.org/village.htm Interior pictures; http://nwfchs.org/weddings.htm I couldn't find a listing of the fee and the rent for weddings and events from April 1 to November 30th

Wow!  Thank you all so much!  I have looked into some of the suggestions and I'm coming to realize, w/out being a member, I'll just have to come to reality... it's not going to be cheap...  This seems to be the hardest part of a tight budgeted wedding..  I'll continue looking into your alls suggestions!  Thanks!!!

Can you cut your guest list for the ceremony only, and have it at your church? Or could you have it at the same place as the reception?
