Pipe and Drape Question

Hi! I'm usually a browser on this forum and love just how much yall help each other out! I'm looking to pipe and drape my wedding reception room, the ceilings heights are 18.6 feet so would need REALLY tall pipe and drape. Most vendors I've contacted don't seem to have it or they're charging around 5k for it! Is this the average price? Does anyone know anybody else who does it? I would love to know how our Dallas brides do pipe and drape! TIA!

Call United Party Rental or Ducky Bobs and get pricing on it plus delivery. I work with United Party a lot and I think at most I've paid $1000 for pipe and drape with delivery & setup
Most likely your vendors are renting through them, and doing a hefty upcharge on you

I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

Ditto PP. Pipe & Drape is actually pretty expensive at that height.

You can try Aire Designs of Texas.  She's mainly balloons but I think she does this too.

I'm getting married in a small town, where renting isn't an option... So we're making our own.  We bought fabric in bulk on Harry Hines for less than $2/yard, and then made it into curtains.  We're putting them on 1x2 boards (super cheap) from the hardware store, and then clamping them to the rafters of the room (which are exposed).  I think we're spending less than $500 and are doing about 1/4 of the room.  No idea if this would work for your situation, but maybe it's an option.  Good luck!

    Thanks Guys!

I just tried United Party Rental, but they only go up to 10 feet :(
Have my fingers crossed for DuckyBob's!
I just checked out Aire Designs of Texas and will contact them now--from their website it does look like they do pipe and drape!

Our hotel venue doesn't allow you to tamper with the walls, including clasping anything to it, so that's totally out, but such a good idea!! So creative!

Any other places I can check out?
  • I have used a company out of southern california named Silver Star Displays. The seem to have great pricing on almost every project i have worked with them on. Pipe and Drape has been one of their lowest priced items i have been able to find online. I tried a google search for Wholesale Pipe and Drape and found them. Let me know how it all works out for you :)
