Trolley vs. Limo vs. Something else

I am trying to figure out how I will transport my wedding party the day of... I think limos are nice and stuff like that but I would have to get a limo that can hold over 15 people to accommodate my entire wedding party- and everyone does this! So I was thinking of doing something different... renting a trolley instead. I came across this album the other day and I just thought it was so cute... What do you think? How are you transporting your wedding party?

OMG I think the trolly thing is soooo cute. I have never seen anyone do that before, that is a super cool idea!

I am doing a limo. This guy my mom went to high school with owns a popular limo company in my town and he will be giving us a discount so we are going with limo.

I think the trolley idea is so cute!

We reserved 3 vehicles with a limo company. My mom got this bright idea of getting a vintage Rolls Royce for my dad and I to ride in to the church. My bridesmaids and mom will ride in a stretch limo and the guys will ride from the hotel to the church in a stretch Hummer. I believe after the ceremony, the entire bridal party will ride to the reception venue in the Hummer, Fi and I will ride in the Rolls Royce, and my parents will ride in the stretch limo.

If you can get a good deal on the trolley, go for it. I'm realizing right now that the limos are so expensive just for a few hours.

I love the trolley idea - it's different and so cute! Everything for our wedding/reception is at the same location and the hotel is 2 blocks away, so that eliminated the need for transportation. However, for FI and my departure at the end of the night, we are getting picked up in a horse and carraige just for effect. We'll probably ride around downtown for about 15 minutes then take it to the hotel!

@2010Bride: FI loves the Rolls Royce idea so much... we may look more into that for our getaway car.

@cincy: I wanted the carriage so bad! It is so romantic and fairytale-ish... unfortunately we would have to outsource for that and it costs an arm and a leg!
