    No, the reception not make up for it, it made it worse........we sat for anothere 30-40 minutes with no water or refreshments...very sad.. I learn that it is not always about the bride that you are a hostess and she make sure your guest feel welcomed....

    well.. speaking as a bride who's wedding started 30 min late.. I know I myself was pissed about this.. but it was out of my hands.. there were soo many dress malfunctions/issues, between myself, my mom, and my BM.. that well.. we could'nt walk down the aisle naked!...lol..

    That was the ONLY hiccup.. thank God.. and the reception did make up for it!.. We heard nothing but RAVE reviews on the wedding.

    Maybe there were things that went on behind the scenes that an irate guest may not know about. Believe I understand about the wait.. had to go through it with my sister's in law (her wedding started over an hour late)

    Sorry you had to go thru that though...
