Anyone married or attend a wedding at Mystic Aquarium?  Any info appreciated

    Dont know much about the Aquarium but I am getting married at the Seaport in May. They have been really great to work with and Kim is great. Good Luck!

    IMO, I do not like the Aquarium for a wedding.  I attend many of the MA's galas and fundraisers and sure, it's pretty and the food is good, but it's not an ideal layout for anything except dinner.  There isn't room for dancing or partying, the music must be kept to a certain level, and it just smells fishy (obviously).

    I responded to your other post about the MYC but I agree with jnu- Kim has been great to work with and we're really excited about the Seaport. 
    Some people LOVE aquarium weddings though- so I can understand that. I've also heard similar things to what jennylove said- it can be dark and the music has to be at a certain level. It's definitely a unique and memorable site though. I don't know what you'd think about doing the RD there?

    I also don't know much about marriages at the aquarium, but I am also getting married at the Seaport in June 2011 - so excited, Coastal Gourmet (the catering that covers the area) is an excellent deal and Kim Aubin is sooooo nice to work with :)

    I got married at the Mystic Aquarium. Our guests complemented us on the unique location and the pictures came out well. It fit was exactly the type of wedding my husband and I wanted which is really the most important thing. I have tons of pictures of the set-up in my married bio and the video clip below.
