Ladies, prayer request please!

FI has set a condition on us marrying that we have no control over whatsoever. he believes that this condition will be fulfilled, but really.....it's up to God and someone else.....much as that annoys me.

Because of the nature of the condition, I'm not going to put it on here or on FB. PM me if you really feel that you need to know. I would just appreciate prayers that FI will change his heart. I mean, you don't always get what you want...you have to take what you can get until circumstances change. This is one of those situations.

I'll be praying for you and your FI.

You don't have to answer these here, just something to talk with him about. Do you know why he's suddenly set this/these conditions? When DH proposed, it was him saying he was ready for marriage, not saying, "Here's a ring...we'll see where it goes from here." I'm not saying that's what your FI is thinking, but why is he setting conditions now if he wants to get married? Can you talk with your pastor together?

It has nothing to do with our relationship, actually. It's something in my life that neither he nor I have any control over that isn't related to a job or lacktherof.
