Flowers in the Sacramento Area

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the quote we just received. Not granted I am asking for higher end flowers I wasn't expecting a $1000 quote, but $3000 and my bouquet it self costing $325?!? And to top it off that bouquet will be under 12" in diameter?
We are having our wedding in March, going with seasonal flowers, and having greens to fill. Because we are having some 4' x 8' tables there are some table that have 3 5" x 5" arrangements, and honestly it's not the centerpieces I'm flabbergasted with. We are using all the bridal party bouquets as the head table decor (plus I'm providing all other table decor) but the bridesmaid 7" diameter bouquets are $90. Can anyone let me know if I'm crazy in thinking this is too much? I'm having garden roses, mini calla lilies, hydrangeas, and anemones in my bouquet and different colored ones of the same varieties in the bridesmaids. If I'm crazy and this is what they cost then ok, but if anyone has had similar flowers and can let me know that would be fantastic.

Typical bridal bouquets start about $125 and go up depending on the types of flowers.  Your quote for your bouquet seems quite high.  Bridesmaid bouquets average about $55 or $65.

That seems very very high. I'm in the bay area. My bouquet is 75 and my bm bouquets are 40. That was the lowest estimate I recieved , but I had quite a few that were similar. I'm using some cheaper flowers than you, but not so signficantly that your flowers should be THAT high. I'd look around.

Wow, I'd definitely look around. That seems like a very high quote. I'd check out Tracy with Budding Events in Sacramento, http://www.buddingevents.com/. She's very good with budgets. Also, if you're game for doing some of flowers yourself check out: http://www.fiftyflowers.com/ and http://www.wholeblossoms.com/.

Thanks all! I talked with Tracy and she's amazing. I have one more meetin gtoday with Visual Impact and then decision time. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy with thinking that $300 was a lot for a bouquet.
