So today Ryan and I were talking wedding.
He said, "What do you think we should do about the rings?" (We haven't bought them yet because we're unemployed. Ryan has a job interview tomorrow though so hopefully that will change soon!)
Me: "Just buy the ones we picked out."
Him: "We picked some out??"
What is so funny about this is about eight months ago we spent several hours looking through the internet trying to find rings we both liked. This was hard because a) we have very different tastes and b) he insists they *have* to match or it's "not right" (whatever that means). We finally found a set on etsy that we both liked AND could afford.
THEN three or four months later I brought up in conversaton "At least we picked the rings out" when we were talking wedding and he said "We did?" and I had to share the link with him and go through the whole thing. AND at first he was like "These are okay but we can probably find something better" and went searching again... only to realize once more our tastes are very different and this was where they intersected. It became a big thing because I didn't want him to feel like he was settling. We talked about this for several days before we decided for the second time these rings were right for us.
So now he forgot again.
So I sent him the link and luckily this time he instantaneously liked it (still not having remembered seeing it before!).
Whew! And he thinks I'm scatterbrained? (I love him anyway!)
