NWR - Haircut

Hi ladies!

My hair is getting really long, and IMO I feel like long hair doesn't look good with my body type, so I think I would like to get it cut. I usually try and cut it to brush my shoulders. I don't like SUPER short cuts, but really, my hair is just plain and kind of hangs there. I tried to do the whole bangs-off-to-one-side thing, and the bangs just bugged my eyes until I grew them out again.

So, I'm trying to get some inspiration for a hairstyle (and I figured we could all use a NWR topic). What hairstyles do you all have? How is yours cut? 

Bonus points for PIP (doesn't have to be YOUR style, but could be a style similar to yours).

    You say you don't think your hair goes with your body type- what is your body shape? Your hair type?

    Well, I'm short (only about 5'2) and plus-sized (about a size 20). My hair is pretty thick and straight (as long as I blow-dry it), so like I said, it usually just hangs there. I just don't think long hair looks good on me since I'm so short already.

    I'm 5'3" and a size 18, and I've had long hair the majority of my life- I'm too terrified to do anything else. BUT one time, I got really pissed off and cut it off- it was adorable.

    Here's a picture of me when I had short hair.
    I'm contemplating going back to this style after the wedding (I let it grow out again so I can do a fancy updo) because I'm a big fan of easy stuff that I don't have to do anything with. As it is, my hair is about mid-back length and all I ever do is ponytail it.

    I am 5'2 and have curly black hair. I have had everything from Halle Berry short to past my bra band long. I like super short hair because it's easy and sassy and brave. I like long hair because you can do a lot with it. That being said my hair right now is about 4 or 5 inches past my shoulders and all one length because thats what FI loves. I wear my hair differently every day to work but at home it's usually in a bun. I am not afraid of accesories so I have lots of different headbands, elastics, barettes etc. One thing FI did request is that I wear my hair down for the wedding. So I am doing this:

    About a year ago I was fed up with my hair and basically told my stylist I wanted as much of it gone as possible.  I part my hair off center to the right (more hair on the left).  She ended up leaving the left side a little longer (hits between by chin and cheek bones) and the rest of my hair is maybe 2" at the longest.  It's cute and easy to maintain.  I've been keeping up with the cut for over a year and plan to stick with it for the forseeable future.

    I just had my haircut 2 weeks ago. It was past the middle of back, almost to my butt. I had them cut it to the middle of my back, add a couple layers, trim my side bangs. I keep my hair long because I'm 5 ft 10. Short hair makes me look and feel round. Long hair can make shorter people appear shorter and rounder if the hair doesn't have enough volume. Just depends on body type I guess. I feel medium or just below the shoulder looks good on just about anyone.
