Well things were going smoothly in the RSVP department until this weekend. FI's aunt sent back her RSVP. For those I thought would be suspect I wrote in their name and number of guest allowed. For dear aunt Alice I put her name and #1. The one was for herself, no guest. Simple right? Why did she send it back and change my 1 into a 4! When i told FI and my FMIL they were like WTH!! Who does that?! So I asked FI if he wanted to call her, then I said nevermind I will call her. I figured I have seen this woman twice in the six years my FI and I have been together, I didn't have anything to loose.
Me: Hi aunt Alice, it's me Benita
Aunt Alice: Hey baby how you doing?
Me: I'm good I need to talk to you about your RSVP.
Aunt Alice: Oh yeah I was RSVPing for me, the twins (they are 22) and my man.
Me: I'm sorry Aunt Alice I only had you counted as one. All single people have one slot so we can accomate everyone. I didn't even allow my own mother to have a guest.
Aunt Alice; Oh ok we can just come to the church.
Me: Aunt Alice we aren't getting married at a church. We are getting married at an arboretum and the reception is all at the same place.
Aunt Alice: Oh I didn't even read the invitation.
Me: We are having people at the house afterwards if you want to come by.
Aunt Alice: Ok good. We will just come over to the house afterward. DO YOU WANT ME TO MAKE ANYTHING.
Me: (LMFAO!) No Aunt Alice we're good. I will make sure I let you know what time we make it back to the house.
Aunt Alice: Ok love you honey.
Me: Love you too, bye.
