Attending my Father's 2nd Wedding

Do we get them a gift? They've only been together for a year, and decided to have a shotgun wedding when they found out we were engaged. We're just not sure what to get them... any advice is much appreciated!

I think you should get them a gift...  It's not a shotgun wedding just because they decided to get married before you.  A shotgun wedding generally refers to when the bride was pregnant and they "had" to get married.

It is perfectly appropriate to get them a gift.  What do they like to do together?  A movie pack, gift cert to restaurants, gift cards to a place that seels stuff that they use for a hobby.  Buy them something for their honeymoon, if they are taking one.  Add a fancy restaurant dinner to their itinerary with a gift cert.  Send them to place they'd like to see at their destination, that they might not afford.

Gift cards for music, books, camping gear.

Replacement or high end "stuff" for their new home together (sheets, towels, dishes).

Ask them if they'ver registered!  ~Donna

I am always a fine of good photography.  Have you and your fiance had a professional sitting?  If so, get them a framed 8x8 copy.  Parents LOVE photos of their kids.  Congrats to your dad!
