Ivory Pearls with White Dress?!?!

How tacky would it be to wear my grandma's ivory pearl necklace with my white dress? Is this an absolute no? Please Help!

It is not tacky at all. If you don't want to "wear" the pearls, you can do what I am doing with my moms pearls and wrap them around your bouquet so you have them with you!

I think that it would be perfectly fine. I wouldn't worry too much about ivory vs white pearls. They are pretty close to the same...

Not tacky at all. I doubt anyone will notice the very subtle color difference, plus you're incorporating someone you love into your wedding day attire.

On a related note - I would like to wear ivory pearls with my irovy dress. Does it matter if if the strand is in gold or sillver? I am looking for a drop syle, and my rings are platinum.
