  We're doing a budget wedding as well, and we managed to find someone who customized things to our needs. It's a great price and it seems like we're getting a steal! He did our engagement pics as well and we really liked his services. His company name is bongopix and i'm pretty sure he is based out of toronto. if you PM me I can give you more details!

  where is your wedding located and what's the date?
  
  the guy i'm using did my brothers wedding as well.  he is professional and shoots for exec magazines, newpapers, weddings, etc.  he charges a very reasonable price per hour and then per gig of photos.  no packages...it's all as you wish and is extremely affordable compared to most companies I checked with

  Thank you! My wedding is March 25th and is based in Mississauga. I went on Bongopix website and got in touch with Mike via email. I also checked out Jessica Smith in addition to other Photographers so I am going to compare prices and services and pray for the best!

  That sucks!  Check out www.bluesixcreative.com and email Jason there and tell him what happened.  They have some photographers that are really flexible.  When I was shooting my engagements my photographer was telling me what happened to someone and they stepped right in with a week to go and got two of them to shoot their wedding for a great price since the bride was all stressed out and they wanted to make sure she had great photography.

  Wow, that is really disappointing.  Pictures of your special day are so important.  I used www.lifeshuttering.ca for my engagements and I really liked them.  I also really liked their pricing.  We are on a budget wedding as my fiance lost his job earlier this year, so we really had to cut back......however, I am trying very hard not to compromise on quality.  The engagement pictures I got back were very good quality, and I have booked them for my wedding too.  They worked with me to customize a package.
