is this ok for 1st dance??

My FI and I are planning on dancing to Never Gonna be Alone by Nickleback. I just wanted to get some other opinions on this. I told my bridesmaids and they just seemed really shocked and like they didnt like the idea. I liked it, and when my FI and I were looking into songs it was once of the only ones we really both liked. I know I shouldn't listen to their opinions, but now im secind guessing. What do you think?

    do what you wanna do!!!!!!

    Your first dance is for you and your man! who cares what others think of the song. If it is what you vision your first dance to be then I say DO IT! :)

    I agree with mjmartel. It is your day and your dance, so if you and your fiance both agree, go with it!! However, comma, the song should be something meaningful to the both of you. Something that (at least mostly) encompasses how you feel about each other and your relationship; your special song. If that's the song that does for you guys, don't listen to what anyone says and enjoy your first dance with your husband. If not, keep looking.

    We are also doing Nickleback and are getting grief about it... But I don't really care!! I would keep it if you guys both really like it. :)

    If that's the song you and your FI want then I say go for it!! :) I personally think that is one of the sweetest rock songs I've heard...
