  Hey there! KOTW means Knottie of the Week. It's a fun way to get to know each other. You just copy and paste Kim's questions and fill in the blanks.  

  To make a profile with pictures and stuff, click up top where it says CT Recommended Vendors and there's a link to Vikki's website that she created with FAQ. There should be step by step instructions on posting pics.

  Ok! Here it is! Sorry it has taken me so long! I'm so excited about all of this!
  
  1. You & your FI/DH’s first name? Colleen and Matt 

  2. Wedding date? I don't know yet!!!! Still trying to decided on a venue! But hopefully sometime Summer 2011

  3. Venue? Still looking!

  4. How did you and FI/DH Meet? We actually met when we were in high school! Matt is the older brother of one of my high school friends.

  5. When did you know he was THE ONE? We were friends for years and then at somepoint we realized we had this amazing connection! Although all of our friends had been telling us for months we would end up together, we never believed it! Then everything kind of perfectly fell into place

  6.  What do you love most about your FI/DH? Everything! haha sorry I know that is so clique, but I feel like our personalities just balance each other out so well, like we are a perfect match. But to be specific I guess I would say I love how kind and loving he is.
  7. How long have you been together? A little less than 2 years, but friends for 8!

  8. Do you live together? Why or why not? Yes! I moved in after 4 months which is so unlike me. We just hated not seeing eachother often enough during the week.

  9. How did FI/DH propose? We went to Cape Cod to go camping. My family and I used to go to Cape Cod every summer when I was little and it is my favorite place in the world. We had never been there together so I wanted to show Matt where my family always went. It had been raining all day and the sun finally came out as we were going for a walk on the beach where my family always went. I was trying to tell him a story and he kept moving to stand behind me. I kept turning around to look at him as I was talking and he kept moving behind me again! I thought it was strange but didnt think much about it! Then he got down on one knee and proposed! It was perfect!!! And at my favorite place!
  10. How long of an engagement are you having/did you have? Why? If everything goes as planned we'll get married next summer!

  11. Where do you see yourself as a couple in 5 years? 10 years?
  I'd say in 5 years I would like us to have had at least our first child, maybe more! And for us to be happy as we are today!
  

  12. How many BM/GM do/did you have? We each have 6!
  

  13-18 I don't know yet! Still in the beginning stage of planning!
  
  19. Where are you HMing? Since we already love New England in the summer I think we might take a mini-moon to Matt's parent's house in Maine and then save the HM (and some extra money) for February and go somewhere tropical!

  20. What is the best thing you learned on TK?  I just love how you can talk to other brides in the same situation as you are and that you can get some great advice! 

  21. What Knottie wedding would you love to attend? Why?  KLS114 I love to read all of her posts! It seems like she has thought of every detail!!

  22. What is something you learned from TK that you never heard of prior? B-pics! And now I really want to get them done!

  23. What other boards do you visit on TK? So far it has mostly been the CT board

  24. What do you do for a career? What does FI/DH do? I am a 1st grade teacher and my FI is the manager of a lumber company.

  25. Do you want children? yes!! Although we are debating between 2 and 3!
  26. Do you think you could be/will ever be a SAHM (stay at home Mom)?  I think so! Although my dream would be to have children, stay at home and write children's books!
  27. Do you have any pets? Names? Yes! Our dog, Trudy is our baby! She is a chocolate lab/ chesapeake bay retrv. and we are obsessed!
  28..Do you have any siblings? yes! One older sister and one younger brother and now a future brother in law!
  29. What is your favorite food? Sushi!
  30. What is your favorite movie? Sleepless in Seattle
  31. What is your favorite drink? (Alcohol & Non-Alcohol) Sam Summer, but my new favorite is Hooker Watermelon Ale  (it sounds gross, but I promise its great!)
  32. What's one city you would love to live in for a year? New York (although I don't know if I could actually do it!)
  33. If you have/had an extra $5000 to put towards your wedding only, what would you spend it on? A waterfront venue with a clambake dinner!

  34. Describe yourself in 3 words. This is always so hard! I guess I'll go with patient, friendly, fun-loving!

  35. When is your birthday? May 15th
  36. What else do you want to share?? Just thank you all for your advice! This is such an amazing and exciting stage in life and it is great to share it with so many great people!
