Ok, so my fiancee and I have been together almost 5 years. We have a 3.5 year old son and another due in a few weeks. I am getting so nervous for how they will be for the wedding next year (at 4.5 yrs and 1 yr). My sisters have tried to assure me all will be fine, that family will help to watch them and such so DF and I can have our day.
Even still, I'm concerned I will be more concerned about how they're behaving, if they're being watched carefully, etc.
Anyone else get married with young kids? How was it? Did you get to enjoy your day?
Re: Kiddos
I have a daughter who is 6 (she'll be 7, almost 8 when we get married) and lots of kids in FI's family. We're going to provide "favor" boxes for the kids to have stuff to do. Little toys, coloring stuff, etc. I'm thinking about getting a sitter for them as there is the groom getting ready room which would be perfect for the kids (wtih a xBox, TV, games, etc.).
I'm sure they will be just fine! Having a sitter or kids favors are a great idea, plus you will have all your friends and family there to help! it will work out just fine hon!
