Too cold for a beach wedding in March?

Call me crazy for asking this, but what do ya'll think? I've always wanted a beach wedding and March happens to be the only month that works for us and our schedules. Hmmm....

I think it is a little too chilly, also remember it still snows in March.

We go to the beach in April pretty often. It's usually too cold to be comfortable on the beach.

I had a friend get married on the beach last March in Hilton Head, but I wasn't there so I don't know how cold it was. If you're willing to go farther south, you'll probably have better luck with the warmer weather.

I have to agree. . unless we have a crazy warm spring, March is still a bit chilly on NC beaches. You could always have an indoor wedding 'on the beach' or something?

I think it would be too cold. You could either move it to May or so, or not have a beach wedding.

You could have a tent on the beach with heaters for the cermony and then a indoor recetion. Try this link they specialize in this kind of thing. I found them when I was looking for a venue to hold my wedding.

Every once in awhile March can surprise you and be warm but generally speaking it is most likely going to be cold. The more south on the NC coast the more likely you are to have it some degrees warmer though
