Flower color to go with Marine Blue bridemaid's dresses

I'm getting married in May 2012. The bridemaid dresses are marine blue and they are from Alfred Angelo. I'm using fake flowers and I'm making them myself. My question would be, what colors would go best with Marine Blue.

Any ideas would be appericated! Thank you in advance!

    I'm rather partial to yellow, because I am having my bridesmaids wear royal blue dresses and carry yellow calla lilies, but I think anything bright would pop. Yellow, pink, orange, green, etc.

    i agree with L&J... i would pick a bright color too...I've seen blue dresses with yellow bouquets and it looked really nice. Also try some color combination inspiration on the Knot wedding color column, e.g. "Blue Weddings", etc..

    I'm actually thinking about having the bridemaid's carry white flowers and I would carry blue flowers. I LOVE the color of the blue on the dresses and I'm not sure if I want to take away from it. I'm also unsure of how I feel about two colors.

    marine blue is considered a neutral color. By adding color you will enhance the color of the dress. by choosing white there will be no contrast and your pictures will be flat.......of course some people prefer that look to adding color.

    have you found a flower yet? I'm also having marine blue as my brindes maid dresses and i'm not sure what color would go best!

    My dresses are marine, too! I want to use pink dendrobium orchids, but that's just me!
