So most of you know that I changed my wedding colors from Black, White & Coral to Black, White & Red recently. Well, of course I did that after I had already ordered my wedding shoes dyed coral!
I loved the way they fit, and they were extremely comfortable to walk in, so I figured I would try to re-dye them in red. If it didn't work out, then I would shop for another pair.
I am so happy to report that they turned out great! A little Rit Dye from Michaels, two sponge brushes, and some painters' tape later, and we're all set!

My set-up outside. The ink looks really purple in this photo.

After two coats (they are more bright red than raspberry red in person):

Now all I have left is to apply some waterproofer (Scotch Guard) and remove the tape!!
