CT bride living in VA--Need to preserve my dress!

Hello DC brides! Do any of you have any recommendations for where I should take my dress for preservation?  I (and my husband) would greatly appreciate it!

    I would recommend going to Imperial Gown Preservation in Silver Spring MD

    they do an awesome job, experienced b/c they do the gowns at the Smithsonian Museum, so you know they have to be very very good.

    A friend got hers done at a drycleaners (she was trying to save $) and they burned the beads and the gown was ruined.  so the old saying, you get what you pay for... holds true.

    The Prestige cleaners in Bethesda has perserving..if you have friends needing alterations in the fute, please tell them to check out Toast and Strawberries...20 years of experiencde. tel 20-723-9007
