30 minutes?? That's insane. You could have bought the ingredients and browned the meat yourself in that amount of time.
That does remind me of when we used to go to Taco Bell after the club closed, and there were like 30 cars full of drunk people in line. It took forever just to order.
Damn it! But, was your carmel apple empanada worth it? (love those things)

All I got was a 7 layer burrito and the tortilla was dried out (almost crispy), the lettuce brown and the filling just gross. I ate half then tossed it. I'll eat less than perfect food but this was just...bad.
There were quite a few cars in line when we got there but not a ridiculous amount. We have no idea why it took so long because we waited a good 10 minutes before really moving.
Gross, that sucks. I remember a few times when there were people walking through, because the lobby was closed. Hey, at least they weren't driving drunk!
Our taco bell burned down right before my wedding. I wanted to bring Matt's family to the burned out taco bell and tell them that was where our reception was going to be, but he wouldn't let me.

Taco Bell always has a ridiculously long line here. I have no idea why. We just went there last night and by the time we got home I wasn't even hungry.
I will start the story by saying that Scott LOVES Taco Bell and we eat there far too frequently. We joked that we were going to have the reception there.
I wasn't aware that we had reached the end of our reception time, so I left the hall even though I had to pee. No biggie, the hotel was only 30 minutes away and I could hold it. Well, there was construction between us and the hotel, and we had no cell phone to call and ask people for directions, and we got really lost. After an hour of driving I told Scott that we had to stop somewhere to pee or I was going to die. We can't find any gas stations, restaurants, nothing. Finally when I'm getting ready to just say screw it and pee on the side of the road (it was in the boonies) a cell phone starts ringing in the glove box. We get directions back to town and stop at the first place, a Taco Bell. I run in (in my wedding dress and veil) to pee while Scott (in full Marine Dress Blues) asks the 16 year old cashier for directions to the hotel. Sil met us there to help us back to the hotel. Everyone except Scott was laughing hysterically and still thinks it's the greatest story ever. He is still super pissed because "his bride had to pee in Taco Bell".

The trick my dad taught me with drive-thrus
If there are 3 or more cars in the drive-thru it's faster to park and go inside.
I had McDonalds breakfast this morning. It was so good.
